Hello and welcome to the 2011-2012 AP Biology and Regular/Honors Biology class sessions with Mrs. Prochazka.  This website will provide you with the most important things needed to pass Biology and keep you organized on the material being covered in class.  All power point lecture notes will be downloaded under the “BIO NOTES” tab above for you to access on a regular basis.  Feel free to visit the website often and print out the notes if needed.  When you are absent visit the “BIO Assignments” tab above to find out what you missed.

The Biology course syllabus will be given to you the first week of school. The syllabus will be an extremely useful piece of information to keep in your notebook and refer back to multiple times.  Specifically, all class expectations, the grading policy, and most importantly the content that will be taught and tested can be found in the course syllabus.

Each student will receive a Biology textbook which should remain at home.  There are classroom textbooks which will remain in the classroom and are issued based on your seat number.  There is also a textbook website, for Regular/Honors Biology (not AP Biology) that should be accessed on a regular basis to practice skills for each section of the chapters in the book at www.classzone.com.  Best wishes for a very successful and productive school year!!!

If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to e-mail Mrs. Prochazka at mprochaz@wcboe.org.  Thank you.
